At Each 1 Teach 1, Inc., we believe that lasting change begins with our youth, and every child deserves the tools to thriveโ€”and every adult in their life deserves support in guiding them. Our services are rooted in trauma-informed, wellness-based practices designed to build emotional strength, resilience, and connection through social-emotional learning (CASEL 5), mindful movement, and creative expression.

After School Programs

Rooted in Wellness, Built for Connection

Our After School Programs are the heart of what we doโ€”meeting youth and their families exactly where they are, and offering a safe, welcoming space for growth, healing, and expression.

Each program is designed to deepen the work introduced during our in-school and before school sessions by expanding on the CASEL 5 core competenciesโ€”Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making. Through consistent practice, students build emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence in a setting that fosters curiosity and creativity.

In addition to yoga, breathing, meditation, and mindful games, our after school sessions are centered around our signature Wellness Initiatives:

  • ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Mindful Movement (youth yoga and body awareness)

  • ๐Ÿฅฆ Mindful Eating (nutritional education and food-based mindfulness)

  • ๐ŸŒฑ Grow Your Own Gardening (hands-on lessons in patience, growth, and environmental connection)

  • ๐ŸŽจ Art as Expression (using creativity as an emotional outlet and tool for self-reflection)

Each class also includes a healthy snack, supporting studentsโ€™ physical nourishment alongside their emotional and mental wellbeing.

๐Ÿ“ 60-minute sessions | Once per week | Offered as 6-week programs with progressive, graduating tiers to support ongoing development

Our after school programs are more than enrichmentโ€”they are a powerful investment in a childโ€™s long-term well-being, community connection, and personal growth.

๐Ÿซ In-School Wellness Sessions

30-minute sessions delivered during the school day in classrooms, homeschool groups, or daycares. We integrate yoga, breathing, and mindful games to complement curriculum and nurture student well-being.

๐ŸŒ… Before School Programs

Start the day with focus and balance. These 45-minute sessions include breakfast, movement, and mindfulness tools to help students self-regulate and arrive ready to learn.

๐ŸŒž Youth Summer Mindfulness Camps

Our immersive summer camps offer children ages 5โ€“9 the chance to explore mindfulness, nature, movement, and connection in a fun, supportive environment. Activities include:

  • Group play & SEL games
