Mindful/Healthy Eating:
Mindful Eating is the practice of being aware of our food and the experience of the food. Our goal is to offer nutrition information and healthier food choices so participants can feel their best because when we feel better, we usually do better. We would like to offer options such as fresh fruits, veggies, non-meat, gluten-free, etc. options to participants who often live in "food deserts".
We are SEEKING FOOD EDUCATORS and/or Nutritionists to provide nutrition education and cooking classes to help families develop basic cooking skills to encourage healthy eating habits that contribute to wellness. We want to equip families and communities with cooking skills and information necessary to make affordable, nutritious and delicious food choices and homemade meals.
